SNAPSHOTS OF THE ST. MORE'S NURSING HOME OUTREACH

It's 10:00 am on the first Saturday of the month at St. Thomas More's in Hyattsville, Maryland. The sounds of praises to God permeate the chapel. The Outreach Ministry is on its assigned post ready to lead the residents and occasional staff person into the presence of God. All of the residents are invited to the service and many times the Ministry assists in bringing the residents downstairs to the chapel. The residents are mostly elderly men and women of diverse ethnic backgrounds. Many are in need of physical, emotional, and mental deliverance, but we believe that when they step into the presence of God, they will be set free. --Gloria Robertson reporting from the mission field.
